Not sure if I fully understand.

Your current home page has a sidebar layout.
Can you remove it first if you are not using it?

The content should show in the center by default.

Thanks for your help Leo. I have made the changes and selected the no sidebar under Sidebar Layout, blog sidebar layout and single post sidebar layout. But it is still not showing like I want to show it.

1. Can you make sure the header width and inner header width is set to full?

2. Are you looking to set the container width on some pages to be narrower? If so you can create a layout element:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/#content-1

If you want all pages to have a narrow width then just set it in the customizer:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/container-width/

The example site is using 880px.
