I’m trying to navigate around adding schema to some of my client’s websites and I was hoping you guys had a bit of input as I’ve been reading some Google documents and can’t tell if I’m doing it right.

    I’ve gone to:

    https://www.google.com/webmasters/markup-helper/u/0/

And marked up the page. I then went to:

    https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/

    And I’ve tested the code.

My question is more about where and how do I place the code onto the website.

The client I’m working with now has two locations. So basically I have location pages.

Each location page has subpages like services and other things.

    https://www.csinstallers.com/locations/ny/plainview/

If all those pages contain the same exact details (like hours, address, phone, name etc.), can I use a wp_body_open Hook to add the code to those pages? Then a different hook for the second location page and it’s subpages?

Or..am I supposed to go through the process for each page individually using the Structured Data Markup Helper tool and place the code directly into the body, say, inside the WordPress page editor (for me it’s Siteorigin).

When you use the testing tool, do you see whether or not it’s on the page immediately or does it take some time? I know I read here:

    https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/3069489?

And it mentions (#8 A) that it could take time. Anyone have any idea or personal experience with this?

    Any feedback would be awesome!

    Hi there,

Unfortunately we aren’t schema experts here.

For general WordPress questions I would recommend using a forum like this one to get better and more knowledgable audience:
    https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/

    Hope that helps!
