Line beyond header - full width

Hello,
I have GP Premium. Is it possible to place a line beyond the header - full width in the customer settings? At the moment I tried:
.site-header {
border-bottom: 1px solid #000000;
border-bottom-color: lightgray;
}
But it is not full width. Do I miss something?

I am sorry, but it is a local site (Xampp), which I am using for testing.
I have imported the library site "abstract" and activated a top bar. Below the top bar, there is a full width line and I want such a line also below the header - full width. Hope I have made myself clear.

If you haven't changed any settings in the customizer, your CSS should work.
So go to customizer > layout > header, choose Full width for header width.
