Latest Posts not showing on home page anymore

Hi Team
When I set up my blog using GeneratePress the 4 most recent blogs I created displayed nicely on the home page of the blog.There was (and still is) some code on the page that enabled this I believe : [wp_show_posts name="Latest Post"]
But now nothing shows at all ?
I don't thing I have changed anything but Im not sure how to get them showing again

You can go to Dashboard > Plugins to check.
I added some more comments in my previous reply as well so make sure to read that.

Great. Making progress. Blogs are back. Next question is how do I standardize picture size ? They used to be all the same size but now they vary a lot.
