However I would like to show the modified date instead of the published date. I’ve tried using the function and CSS from here: https://gist.github.com/generatepress/57ef8336f9afec9bb42a but it removes the author. Any ideas? PS Also I’ve read that Google is now recommending both modified and published dates. Is there a best practice for this? You should only have to do this now: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/show-the-updated-post-date/ Let me know if this helps π August 29, 2018 at 1:37 am #663015 Jeff Awesome, works perfectly. My only question is, does the CSS solution work for search engines as well as humans? My main reason for doing this is to have the modified date shown in the search results. Thanks!
