Best WordPress Theme I’ve Found in 10 Years
Was curious Tom of the reviewers claim:
No Child Theme Needed, One of the best features of GeneratePress is that I no longer have to use a Child theme.
Given that the hooks ADDON is no more?

Not sure what you mean?
Child theme is still not required with GeneratePress.
The original hooks add-on has been replaced with Hooks Elements a few versions ago which doesn’t require a child theme:
