Is there a way to line up the footer widgets so that they are in a row rather than in a column.
I'd like to have a box (widget) on the left that contains a blurb about my site. Next to that box is a short blurb about being an Affilate. And the 3rd box has a list of the Legal Pages, ex, About, privacy, Terms, etc.

Right now, everything is piled on top of one another, in other words the footer widgets are in a "column" rather than a "row"
How can I get three widgets in a row??
Thank you standing.

Hi Ken,

I'm not exactly sure I get the full picture of what you're trying to do but perhaps this fits the bill - https://docs.generatepress.com/article/footer-widgets/

You can set a certain number of Footer widget areas. This appears right above the footer bar.

Say for example, you've set 3 footer widget areas, you can have something of this layout.

[ Footer widget 1 ] [ Footer widget 2 ] [ Footer widget 3 ]
[--------------------- Footer Bar ------------------------]

Hi Elvin,
Yes, that's what I'd like to make.
Looks like what I should have said, is I'd like to create 3-columns in ONE widget.
It looks like I can do this with the "Layout Element Overview" I got this from the link you shared.
Thank you. For now, can we keep this ticket open in case I stil can't get the layout you described?

Ahh, it's not working. I can't figure this out. I think I'll just use a plugin. :)

Ah, sorry, I didn't understand what you meant. I finally figured it out. All I had to do was go to widgets > Add the site Blurb to Wddget 1 do the same for Widget 2 and 3 for Azon Blurb and Legal pages respectively.
THank you. Got it.

Must the widgets be in the same area?

Consider this: Instead of putting everything in one widget area, try putting the widgets on different widgets areas that are displayed horizontally.

Place the 1st widget on the Footer widget area 1, 2nd widget on Footer widget area 2, 2nd Widget on Footer widget area 3.

This way, at least the widgets are displayed in a row.

Ah this reply appeared late. Glad you got it sorted. :)
