iPad 9.7" responsive breakpoints

Hi guys,

Hope you can help with the following:

I would like to display the website the same on iPad with 9.7" (iPad till 5th generation and first iPad Pro) as on the more modern iPad's with 10.2" screens. On 9.7" iPad, the site is displayed as if for phones. So that means the mobile navigation is displayed and WooCommerce shows only 2 columns, while there is enough screen estate.

I've been trying for a while now, but can't get it to work. The difficult part is in targeting that specific screen size, but only for iPad. As I understand so far, GP only targets 768, but doesn't differentiate iPad and mobile. I can make specific queries for iPad 768 myself, but that's for custom CSS. I would like the default behaviour of GP to change though.
