Installation Failed

Hi,
When I uploaded 1.7.8 the installation failed. However, I was able to install Alpha - go figure. I'm not alpha guy. I want the regular version. What's the problem?

what error did it you give you when the 1.7.8 install failed?
Really dumb mistake on my part!
