Install generate press on a website with another template

Good morning to all! I am new here... I get in touch with you because I have a question. I have a new client to whom I will only make the home page new, the rest I leave as it is ... my question is, can I install generate press without affecting the rest of the pages? I would appreciate your response, thank you very much. (sorry for my English...)
Hi there,
the GP Theme will apply to the entire site, you can't just apply it to a single page.
I would suggest creating a staging site so you can see what happens when switching themes.
If the old theme uses any built in templates or built-in pagebuilder then this content will need rebuilding.
