Hi,

I am working on a local version of Wordpress, and have downloaded the GP child theme so I can have some custom stylesheets, etc.
I know I can install it directly into the local WP dashboard like I would any other theme, but I am not sure if that would give me access to edit child theme files in my code editor.
Is there another way to do this/so I can edit files in a code editor from the child theme?

Hi there,

but I am not sure if that would give me access to edit child theme files in my code editor.

You should get access to the editor if you login as the admin.

Or you can just open the style.css file of the child theme in your local install.

Let me know if this helps :)

Hey Leo,

Seems to have worked, the files showed up in my local and I was able to update the css and functions.php without issue it seems.
Thanks!

No problem :)
