Hi,

On the home page of my site, how can I insert text and image content, above (or below) article previews?

Hi there,

if your home page is set to display latest posts then you would need to use the Hook Element:

However, in this way I can only enter text at the top. How can I insert the text below the list of previews, before the start of the footer???

The Hook Element ( not the Header Element ) has lots of places to add content, as per the visual guide i shared above. You would use the before_footer hook for example.
