[Support request] Incompatibility with “quote citation” plugin

Hello

I just switched to GeneratePress, and I’ve been using the “quote citations” plugin for a long time, with my old wordpress themes, besides, everyone advises it in the wordpress sphere.

But unfortunately it doesn’t work anymore with GeneratePress, how to do ? Can you tell me what’s wrong with this plugin ? Or how to make it work again?

it’s a plugin that displays tips randomly in a widget and here, it just doesn’t display.

For example, on sidebar on homepage (but also on all pages)

So it’s added as the first widget in the sidebar widget area?

It’s simply not showing in the source code – this isn’t something the theme can cause.

I’m also seeing 4 widgets in the sidebar now as opposed to 6 in your screenshot.

Do you have any caching plugin activated or any server/hosting level cache?

No there is no caching options for now, i’m on development, and i have reset cache hosting server too

if i use shortcode of the plugin it works but with less options, i’ve had this with shortcode in third position

Does the same thing happen if you use another widget area like footer widget to test?

If so can you check with the plugin support team first?

There isn’t anything from the theme that is capable of blocking widget execution.

if you temporarily switch to the TwentyTwenty Theme and add the widget to its sidebars, does the widget display?
