[Support request] In-Feed Hooks Help

Hey all!

I’m looking to place in-feed ads into my website, 71republic.com. I want them to display similarly to other very reputable websites in our industry, such as axios.com

More specifically, I want to have ads placed on our homepage within the content feed between articles. When a reader is scrolling down, I’d like for the site to go as follows:

-Article
-Article
-Ad
-Article
-Ad
-Article
-Article
-Ad
-Load More Posts Button

The closest way of pulling this off is placing the ad code into the generate_after_main_content hook, but that only allows for one ad to be displayed and it doesn’t show up on the homepage of my website, instead only appearing on category pages and whatnot.

Moreover, when a reader clicks the “load more posts button” whether it be on the homepage or anywhere else, no more in-feed ads display. I’d like for some to be generated as new posts are generated.

Is there any way to pull off this type of setup?

its really complicated to do – the easiest method is to use a plugin like this:
