Hello,

I have a problem in the page editor. If I want to edit my page, pictures are not shown in the page, instead there is only the alt-attribute visible. I can change the pictures, but still it's very difficult to edit the page without seeing how the pictures look like in the page.

Thank you for your help!
Best,
Julia

Dear GeneratePress Team,

I found a mistake. I migrated the page from a test-domain to the actual domain. Now I realised that the preview pictures in the backend are still loaded from the test domain, while the images in the frontend come from the right URL. Do you know how to change the URL of the media files in the preview?

Hi there,

make sure the correct URLs are in Dashboard > Settings > General.
And then go to Settings > Permalinks and Click Save Changes to rebuild those links.

Hi David,

I checked it, the URLs were correct, but rebuilding didn't work. I re-uploaded all images manually - now the backend is fine again as well. I have no idea, where this bug came from.

Thank you for your answer anyway :)

Best, Julia

Glad to hear you got it working
