Hi there,

the password you provided won't allow me get past the front end login.
Even if i login in as an admin. Can you check?

So i logged into the backend and went to a post in the Job Swap category - and the couple of posts i checked don't have a featured image assigned to them.

It looks like you have the image in your post content. There are some plugins that will get the first image and set it as featured... but personally i would say its best to add them manually to the post.

Oh heck, I forgot to give you login credentials as if you were a normal user. Sorry, David.

I just set up John Doe also as a member. Please log in on the front end as:

John Doe
email: john@doe.com
password: uc20JohnDoe21uc

_____________

I did set the images manually. Doing it via Featured did not occur to me. When you go into Job Swap as a member you will see a small blue box with a question mark in it on the spot where the image should appear.

Any idea how that happened and how it can be corrected?

Thanks !

John

The image is 404ing as its domain is incorrect eg.

Did you migrate from another domain ? If so you will need to Search and Replace the domain with your new domain.

But ideally you want to use the Featured Image option - otherwise you have to jump through hoops if you want them displayed on the post archive or have them served in RSS feeds or social sharing....

I did, indeed, export-import those post from another domain: contrastingcultures.com

A blessing in disguise, David, for now I know the value of Featured Image. Thanks !

John

Featured Image works much better, David. Thanks !

One question, however: The caption is not being displayed. It is the name or the artist whose image I pull from Unsplash.

John

Can you open a new topic for a separate question?

I'll mark this one as resolved.

Thanks :)

Yes, Leo. I will open up a new question.
This one is resolved ... yeah !
