Hello:
On my blog, GP is set up to have a 1 sidebar on the right hand side.
If I want to include a full size image to sit at the top of every post, how wide should that image be?
Looking in the customise menu, my container width is 1100 px. Does that help?

So the image would be above the content and sidebar? If so 1100px in width should work well.

No. The image is above the content but it fits alongside the sidebar.

That case an image width of 850px should be good enough.
