I have some images that are in portrait mode (taller than wide) that I would like to use in-line in a post. Trouble is, the image gets truncated top and bottom to fit a landscape (wider than tall) image block.

Surely I am just overlooking something here. The WordPress documentation says this is a theme-controlled item.

    Can you help?

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

Is there a specific post where I can see this happening?

    Let me know 🙂

    Tom –

The post is http://www.milesawaygrandparenting.com/2019/03/27/um-about-that-grandparenting-dream/ and the image at issue is the B&W photo of the woman sitting in the grass. The original photo is taller than wide and shows her full body, including shoes.

    Thanks.

When you insert the photo, are you setting the size to show the full image? It looks like it’s showing a smaller image file.
