image caption pushes image underneath aside

Hi!
I have a problem with caption that has two lines pushes the image underneath to the side.
The problem is probably not that hard to solve with css, but I can't figure out how.
Please, please can you help me.
Here you can see what I mean: image pushes aside
Thank you!
Kind regards Pia
Hi there,
the core Align Left option uses CSS floats - which become an issue when you have different height elements. And for some crazy reason WP decided to add the Float to the Image and not the Image Block container....
Have you tried using a Gallery Block instead ?
Hi David!
Yes I have tried that, but then I have the problem with the links to pages that each image is connected to. I don’t want to use a plug-in for that. Had problem with one of the plugins about two years ago.
Gallery block would be the best as David mentioned.
What is the issue with the links?
Hi Leo,
I want every image to link to their own page that is created on the site. I just realized that I can link the caption to a page, but how do I link the image? If I use the gallery block is it possible to get the caption to go under the image instead of above?
Thank you so much for helping me!
Hmm I guess gallery doesn't allow custom links for each image.
In this case, try using the grid block to create the columns and add the image blocks in it and see if that fixes it:

ok, thank you.
I would have preferred not to install more plugins, but I will take a look att this solution.
Thanks again!
Kind regards
Pia
