Image author inside blog header

Hi,
Could someone help me out with some support?
I'm setting up a blog posting website and I'm creating a header for my blog posts.
Right now I'm having the blogtitle, subtitle (created with custom fields), date and author inside my header.
Now I would like to adjust a small image from the author inside the header, but can't figure out how that works.
I've created a custom field and called it 'Image' and added the URL of the image. Now I can't figure out the data I've to adjust in the generate press elements. Could you give me some advice.
Thanks,
Janneke
Hi there,
are you using the GP Header Element? If so this example will help:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-hero-examples/#example-2
It creates a shortcode to output your WordPress avatar image.
Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm using the header element.
I tried to put in the PHP and CSS from example 2.
But when I'm activating the CSS wordpress shows a message with technical problems.
Could you help me with this one?
Thanks
Janneke
I already fixed it!
Works fine with the gravatar as image. For my knowledge, is it also possible to put in a different image than your gravatar?
Thanks
That method will only work with the WP Gravatar.
If you want to have a custom image then maybe this plugin will do the job:
