Icons not Loading

Hi there, I am not sure if these are FontAwesome Icons, but in my Menu the arrow for drop downs are not showing, same in Back to the Top the Up Arrow not showing, the Categories/Tags icons not showing.. I am using GP Premium.. Pls assist..

Hi there,

Can you first confirm that you are using the latest version of the free theme 2.1.3?

If you are then try #1 here to eliminate any plugin conflicts:

Hi Leo, version is fine.. Following this https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/ is such a long process.. Do you not have any known list of plugins that maybe conflicting with your theme that I can check with my list of plugins..??

I have 35 active plugins to disable, check, enable.. Surely there has to be an easy way..?? Are these icons FA icons..??

Are you using any URL redirect from staging site to live site?

The font is still being served on the staging site. This is the error:

You can try delete the premium plugin and reinstall it.

You need to make sure that the fonts are being served from the same URL that you're using in the address bar.

Otherwise, you need to do something like this: https://davidwalsh.name/cdn-fonts

Hi Tom, my URL is https://shippingandfreightresource.com.. I am not serving any specific fonts.. Everything is coming from the same URL.. If your fonts are coming from your theme, then i am not sure where it is coming from..

If you right click your page in Chrome and click "Inspect", you'll see a few errors in the "Console" section.

Basically you're serving some files from static.yourdomain.com, but we're visiting yourdomain.com (no static).

Some browsers will prevent fonts from loading if that's the case.

The link I added above gives you a solution you can add to your server which will fix it :)
