I need a contact form that doesn't conflict with Generatepress

I have created a new site with generatepress. I have only the generatepress theme and premium plugin installed.
When I try install wpforms I can no longer open my customizer.
I purchased gravity forms hoping to fix the issue. When I have GP premium installed I can't create any forms. If I disable GP Premium then I can create forms as normal.
How do I fix these conflicts?

I'm using WP forms on this sandbox site and it's working as shown here - https://dev-generate-press.pantheonsite.io/wp-form-test/
I'm also able to open the customizer settings.
Can you link us to the site in question to check? Perhaps provide temporary backend access as well? You can use the private information text field.

check your server PHP Settings - i logged into your site and in Dashboard > Tools > Site Health --> Info >> Server... and they're pretty low.
Heres an example of one my test sites settings:

I highlighted the ones you should look at increasing to similar values.
Mine are probably overkill for a standard site.
But improving your values should eliminate the issue. Particularly the PHP Memory ( not just in Admin ) - should be at least 256mg.
That was it. no idea why settings were defaulted to low. Thanks for the direction!
