Hello, I have updated my CSS to show the last updated value for my posts which is great. The problem I am having is making Google respect this in the SERPS.
Is there an easy way to force google to crawl this value instead of the published value?
Hi there,
Try this tool and you will probably get a better result:
Hi, thanks but that doesn't really solve the problem. That just shows me the markup that google sees. It shows:
<meta property="article:published_time" content="2018-03-27T21:05:08+00:00" />
<meta property="article:modified_time" content="2018-06-21T22:55:48+00:00" />
I want the serp to show the modified time, not the published time.
Is there an easy way to do this?
Unfortunately there's not much else you can do but wait for Google to re-crawl and display the updated date instead of the published date.
