I don't know how to remove my post from the home page

Hey I'm new to websites and I purchased the $50 one and I just published my first post and I also put that post in a menu I created but how do I remove the post that is still in the home page? I only want it to show up in the menu. Also I was wondering how do I put a page at the bottom like putting your Privacy Policy at the bottom? :)

Hi there,
1. You can create a new Page for your Home Page. Then in Settings > Reading you can set your Home Page to Display a Static Page and select your page.
2. You can add content to your Footer using Widgets - this article covers setting the layout for your footer and the widget areas available:
