I can'tfind header.php file in blog and theme

Hello
I joined an affiliate program and was instructed to copy and paste a code on the front page of my website.I can't seem to find the header.php file (which I suppose is the front page of my website) in my blog or theme. Please advise accordingly

I wouldn't paste anything into the theme files.
Instead, use GP Hooks: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/hooks-overview/
Where did they tell you to paste it?

I am required to copy and paste the code in the front page of my website or the header.php file so that the affiliate program can verify my website and I can start putting up ads.
Please direct me on exactly where the front page of my website is? I tried looking for header.php on my web server(I use Bluehost) but couldn't find it.

so the code needs to go into the <head>, so as Tom suggested add the code to GP Hooks in the WP_Head hook.
Pasted the code in gp-hooks and my website is verified.
