Hello!
I’d like to know how to fix a problem regarding the mobile header logo. If I manage to do so, the https will work out fine.
Now the problem is that I deleted the old mobile header logo in the WP media library and also checked for it manually by using an FTP program. Nothing was there; good. Then I re-named and re-uploaded the image. But still, the mobile site tries to access the old image file; not good. I deleted the GP parent theme (not the child theme), switched to the Twenty Sixteen theme and there the green https address bar appeared. I re-installed the GP theme and the green bar was gone again. You’ll see the logo perfectly on the desktop version, but it’ll appear as a broken image on the mobile version.
Here’s what the web host support suggested:
The problem is that even though the image isn’t there WordPress itself it still trying to load it via http. It’s the URL pointing to that image which needs to be removed.
Based on the source code it looks to be associated with how the site
should be displayed on mobile devices….
So you’ll want check the WordPress dashboard for any mobile specific
setting to try and track that down.
So how to solve that problem?
Cheers!
