How will I achieve this?

Hey,
I am looking to rebuild this site for a client and I can't fathom how to get the image behind everything including the menu.
I'm building with Thrive Architect and have tried changing the image Z-index but that hasn't worked.
There is a couple of different headers needed. AmI best trying to get a developer to build this part in the elements section?

Note - you can create a new header element, with no content, and using the merged site header option as per the example it will pull the page content behind the header
