    Hello,
I’ve added the feature image to my post, but now the element on the post page includes the feature image which I do not want.
I want to keep the element background the same on al posts, pages, etc

    Thank you
    Janet Davis

    Hi there,

You need to create a header element solid color or custom image as the background image option:
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/how-to-create-a-page-hero/#step-2-choose-a-background

Let me know if this helps πŸ™‚

I already have a page hero, but the feature image is overriding it on the post.

The featured image should only displayed as the background if you have a page hero assigned to it with Featured image as the background image option.

If you don’t want to use the featured image as the background, then you need to create a page hero with either custom image or solid color as the background and assign it to posts.

    Let me know πŸ™‚
