How to style themes from site library

Hello,
What is the proper way of styling sites from the site library? If I choose the 'Customizer', I can edits fonts, colors ect. But when I choose the gutenberg editor, I can also edits fonts, colors....
What is the best/proper way of doing this?

general rule is to use the Customizer for changing your fonts and colors.
Changing styles directly in the editor should only be applied if there is a very specific need, such as creating a Call to Action element where you want larger size fonts or different colors for example.
Hi David,
I tried to change the H1 font size for mobile in the customizer, but this is not working. Do I need extra css for this, or do I change this in the editor? I also have GenerateBlocks installed, so I can change the font size for mobile there too.
Not sure what the best option is..?
I got It working by changing the fonts using the GB editor. But I still don't know of this is the best solution? Why doesn't the customizer allow us to change the fonts for mobile?
