HOW TO SIMPLY ADD TEXT TO HEADER

text edit field in Header simply disappeared. Now I need to know how to simply add a line of text to header.
This Element thing is too cumbersome.
The text in your header can be found in "Appearance > Customize > Site Identity".

Thanks for the response. However, my question wasn't WHERE TO FIND TEXT it was HOW TO ADD text to my header. For example, contact info via phone or email.
