    Hi

I want to add a jump link to the author’s name on the article. E.g., if someone clicks the author’s name, it has to go down to the author box (same page) instead of the author archives page.

    (More details Shared privately)

    Is that possible?

    Thanks

Edit the Block Element you have to display your Post Meta.
Then edit the Headline block that is displaying the author, remove any Dynamic data ( if any ), type in the sure name and make it a link that contains the #jumplink that matches the ID of your Author box

To use multiple authors and to add smooth scroll.
You will need to replace the Headline block with a GB Buttons Block.
    With that you can:

    a) add a static #jumplink to the button link field
    b) set the Button Label using a Dynamic Text type: Author
    c) In Advanced > Additional CSS Class(es) add: smooth-scroll
    d) enable Smooth Scroll in Customizer > General
