How to set home page post limit

here is my website link https://www.fastgyan.com/
8 posts are showing on the home page of my website
but i want to show only 5 posts
I wrote 5 posts by going to the Reading Settings of WordPress
But only 8 posts are showing on the home page
please tell me how can i reduce the number of posts on the home page

try clearing any Plugin and Server caches you have.
I have clean cache on my website
If i go to another page of the blog - it is showing 5 posts.
Which point the finger to the Server caching. Check with your host, if the server has Page Caching, and if so ask them to clear that cache.
