Hi GeneratePress,

Somehow the Yoast shortcode for breadcrumbs got into the entry-header of our blog posts. I can't figure out how it happened or how to remove it without hiding the entire entry-header in css.

Please see https://hr-staging.risd.edu/working-at-risd/community/news-and-stories/ and https://hr-staging.risd.edu/celebrating-black-history/.

I'm pretty sure it's not related to the Page Hero Element. I have tried trashing all the hero elements and I still see the entry-header breadcrumb. Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks!
Brian

Hi there,

go to Appearance > Elements and edit / remove the Element titled: Breadcrumb

When you are viewing a page in the Admin Bar > Elements you can see the Elements that are active on that page.

Ah, yes! I do need this breadcrumb hook Element for certain uses, but it was set to hook above the post titles. I turned it into a "custom hook" so it will only appear where I put the shortcode. Thanks!

Glad to be of help
