There is extra white space below navigation on every page (except the home page) that I’d like to remove. How do I control that?GP Premium 1.5.6February 28, 2018 at 1:53 pm #508337LeoStaffCustomer Support
You can remove that globally using the customizer option: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/content-padding/
Or per page basis using the page builder container: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-builder-container/
I would also recommend this snippet to remove page title globally: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/generate_show_title/February 28, 2018 at 3:39 pm #508391David
OK, I added the snippet to remove page title globally and that seemed to get rid of some of the white space. But when I go to Appearance > Customize > Layout > Container, and change the Content Padding, I don’t see anything change on the live site.
p.s. where you skiing? Big storm hitting the Sierras this week! 🙂February 28, 2018 at 8:12 pm #508496LeoStaffCustomer Support
Hmm I still see 40px of padding being applied.
Are you using a child theme? If so double check this: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/child-theme-issues/#import
I’m in Whistler 🙂February 28, 2018 at 9:33 pm #508517David

I don’t think so. Plus I’m looking at the pages in a Chrome Incognito browser window.March 1, 2018 at 8:06 pm #509352LeoStaffCustomer Support
Caching plugin has nothing to do with the browser.
This is what I’m seeing: http://www.screencast.com/t/Oi2SijUI0
Can you try #1 here? https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/March 1, 2018 at 8:14 pm #509354David
That’s what I’m seeing too. All that extra white space below the navigation is what I’m trying to get rid off.March 2, 2018 at 8:00 am #509779LeoStaffCustomer SupportMarch 2, 2018 at 9:05 am #509845David

Hmm everytime I load your site, I see the page without style first then the style gets loaded (you should see the same too). This tells me that there is a plugin that’s messing around with the CSS.
Can you leave all plugins (you can keep Elementor on) and let me view the site? Maybe start with a plugin named Page Speed Optimization. Sorry we don’t want to make changes to your site unless we absolutely have to. and I’m pretty certain that it’s a plugin issue.August 3, 2019 at 4:59 pm #975077Eva
