How to remove Top bar menu

How to remove the Top Bar menu from the website - I have tried to Customize > Layout > Top Bar but not sure I succeeded with that... using https://docs.generatepress.com/article/top-bar-widget-area/#secondary-navigation
I want only the primary menu for the website and can I have a toggle menu

go to Customizer > Widgets --> Top Bar and remove the two widgets inside.
