How to Remove "Leave a Comment" Text on Homepage?

I want to remove the leave a comment text and icon on the homepage without disabling comments. I want to do this to reduce the space between the featured post image and the thumbnails beneath it. I'm pretty sure I used a setting that enabled the text but cannot locate it. Maybe I'm just imagining things. If I am how do I code the text out?
Many thanks!
Hi there,
you can disable the comment count in Customizer > Layout > Blog:
Thanks very much.
GeneratePress is far and away the most versatile WordPress theme I've used, and I've used many.
You're welcome and thanks for the great feedback
I'd like to further reduce the padding a little between the feature image and the thumbnails and between each row of thumbnails. There doesn't appear to be a setting for this, only one that removes the padding altogether. Have I overlooked something or will I have to apply some custom css? If it's the latter, what code will I need to use?
Many thanks!
