How to Remove Author and Read More?

GP displays the Gravatar, author name, and read more link at the end of a post. I successfully removed the Gravatar in the WP settings but can't figure out how to remove the author name and read more link. It's not an option in the Blog element customize settings.

GP doesn't add gravatar by default. The author should be below the post title by default as well.
Are you sure you are referring to GP's elements?
Any chance you can link me to the site in question?

I linked my site in private.
It's at the bottom below the this post is empty remark. The code is wrapped in a div styled with "author-box" class.
That is not from GP. I'm guessing it's from a plugin?
Hmm, well if it's not GP then I'll keep looking to see what's causing it. I don't think it's any plugins but I'll double check. Thanks for checking! I'll close out the ticket.
Either a plugin or custom functions.

I found the cause. I'm still new to GP so haven't been messing with elements much. I imported one of your stock sites and it created a bunch of elements. One of them was an author box element! I'm kicking myself for not looking there first lol! Anyway, I unpublished the element and it solved the problem.
