How to reduce blog post container size

Hi,
I want to make my blog posts page a bit more narrow on the desktop. I'm not sure of the exact pixel size that will look the way I want it to, so I want to mess with it a little. How do I do make this adjustment?

No. Reducing the container width makes everything proportionately thinner but does not give me a thinner blog post column.
