I built this beautiful website using generate press: http://www.chezyergz.com

If you notice the top header is white and my revolution slider is right below, however I am about to build a new website for a salon owner and we found this theme style……

https://kendall.elated-themes.com/hairstylist <<< we like how the slider goes to the top of the screen with the navigation and logo infront.

I would rather continue using GP but can you tell me how I can have the effect of my revolution slider behind the navigation and logo (header element)

    Thank you!!

    Hi Leo

Thank you for sharing that article. It helped. So now I’ve cloned one site and started to make edits for my new Salon website. Here is the test site: http://css.hostaccount100.info

I used the Merge on Desktop only feature, so that works great, however I have a new issue:

on the desktop I had to add 30px margin-top to the navigation so it would be more aligned with the logo however that is creating a huge gap on the mobile view.

I can’t turn “mobile header” on because then my logo is super super tiny. I just want to move the “hamburger icon” up on the mobile view.

Is there another way to create an element that displays only on mobile view?

Also – I have fly out menu turned on but no menu flys out. What am I missing there?

    Thanks

Try this option for the header/navigation layout. It should work better:
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-as-a-header/

I believe the toggle isn’t working because it’s hiding behind the content.

    Couple options here:

    – Try the off-canvas/slideout navigation:
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/off-canvas-panel-overview/

    – Add the first section (slider etc) as the page hero content:
