Please tell me what setting to change to fix this. Thank you so much! October 3, 2019 at 5:30 pm #1025749 LeoStaff Customer Support Hi there, What’s the password to access your site again? Let me know π October 3, 2019 at 5:46 pm #1025756 Carol X80Ws+031v45 October 3, 2019 at 6:41 pm #1025766 LeoStaff Customer Support Should be this option here: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/content-padding/ Let me know if this helps π October 3, 2019 at 7:57 pm #1025798 Carol Well, all my padding was the same number. When I decreased content separator to 0, it fixed it. However, a new problem came of the H2 headings being too close together on the archive page. First 3 posts are fine. Last 3 posts – excerpts are too close to the heading. See spacing issues in image: X80Ws+031v45 October 3, 2019 at 9:16 pm #1025805 LeoStaff Customer Support Actually, the padding issue was coming from CSS Hero adding this code: https://www.screencast.com/t/BF2aqEJjxe It’s overwriting the customizer setting which is 15px. Please remove that. Can we stay away from CSS Hero for now? October 3, 2019 at 9:32 pm #1025813 Carol Leo, thanks for the reply. But I had cleared ALL code from CSSHero much earlier tonight when you had started helping me. I didn’t want anything to conflict. Maybe clear your cache? I don’t see that code on my “inspect element” on page or inside CSSHero. I went through every element again just now, and I don’t see any code at all in there. Please let me know. October 4, 2019 at 8:30 am #1026262 Carol Please let me know… Thanks. October 4, 2019 at 9:00 am #1026291 LeoStaff Customer Support Please allows us enough to time answer π Can you increase the content separator value again so I can see the issue? The reason why the first 3 posts have some spacing is that there is an empty paragraph added in the excerpt: https://www.screencast.com/t/lj5Bswlhal October 4, 2019 at 9:52 am #1026358 Carol Sorry, Leo – thought you forgot about me so bumped it. Won’t do it again. π Okay – thanks for pointing out there was extra space in those posts. I increased separator value, and it is fixed. You’re the BEST! Thank you very much! π October 4, 2019 at 10:13 am #1026369 LeoStaff Customer Support No problem π Author Posts Viewing 11 posts - 1 through 11 (of 11 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
