How to make classic site footer menu different from primary

I am using the classic site from the site library. It's dead simple like I wanted but the footer menu is the same as the primary menu. Under locations I expected to see an option to set it to footer menu but there is only an option for slide out menu which does nothing. How do I make this function the way it should and have a primary and footer menu location that can be different from each other?
Hi there,
You would need to:
1. Create a new menu in "Appearance > Menus".
2. Go to "Appearance > Widgets" and change the Navigation Menu widget option in the Footer Bar widget area to this new menu.
