[Resolved] How to make a section full-width?

Hi there,

My layout container is 650px wide. I am wondering if there is a way to insert a ‘full-width section’ in the middle of a blog post?

Hi there,

not easy. It would require the whole page to be full width and then everything apart from the full width section to be set to 650px wide using CSS.

Are you wanting to do this for all posts or just a single post?

Hmmm, sounds more than I bargained for David. I think I’ll pass (it was for certain posts)… thanks all the same.

Haha – yes its not an easy fix breaking out of a container can be tricky. But i have done it on a site. Let me know if you change your mind 🙂

OH one alternative would be to use GP Sections for those posts. If its only a few posts then maybe give them a shot.
