Jason
for example, this website http://www.latinmotion.com.au/ i want to copy their content bg image, and is behind the nav menu bar, and when you scroll the page up it covers it up, so it sorta sits in the background.
how do I achieve this with GP Premium? thank you
I am trying to get that image I have on my client’s webpage to be sorta the same, as I dont like the current look, thanks

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi Jason,
Have you tried using the Page Header add-on? You can set an image as the background, then apply it to your home page.
1. Add a new page header in “Pages Headers > Add New”.
2. Add an HTML comment in the content field:<!-- page header -->
3. Upload a featured images, and enable the “Image background” option in the Content section.
4. Add a top/bottom padding value, to give the page header some height. Then you can apply that page header to any page by using the Page Header metabox while editing the page.
Lots more info on Page Headers here: https://docs.generatepress.com/collection/page-header/

far dude, that didn’t make any sense to me. too many steps and have no idea, u said to enable background image in content section but there is no enable background image there. and what does that have to do with featured images? they are supposed to be 2 separate things.

also i want in under the header, meaning under the main menu bar, so why would I add it to the header? doesn’t make sense.

ok I figured out adding the page header, but how do I get the content to scroll over it? so the image is in the background? as I showed you on this website http://latinmotion.com.au/
see how their content scrolls over their page header?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperCan you show me the page you’re working on so I can see where you’re at?

the header image is just static and the below content will not scroll over it

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperThat’s just using a static image – it needs to be a background image in order to set it to fixed.
Here are the settings I explained above: https://www.screencast.com/t/5QHUJKdeBx2
It seems like a lot of steps, but it’ll only take you a couple minutes if you do them one step at a time 🙂
