How to fix the header indexing SEO issues?

Hi, I was wondering what I can do to de-index the headers of an article?

For example, XYZ.com/article-name/#header-name

Hi there,

you cannot noindex individual links, only nofollow them, and search engines treat on page #anchorlinks differently to a page link.

So I don't have an answer for this, and its not something a theme would deal with.
But I did find this article that you may find useful.
