How to expand post width

I tried Customize>Layout>Container>Container Width, it's currently 1200 px but when I tried to make it wider it wont change.
What am I doing wrong?
(I don't use sidebar)
Hi there,
Either you have a Layout Element that is setting the Content > Width:

Or theres some CSS overrding it.
Or the page itself has been constructed using blocks or another plugin thats defining the width.
If its none of the above or your not sure then provide us a link to the site and ill take a look
You are a genius. Appearance > Elements > Content > Content Width was 800. I changed to 1200, worked.
