Hi

I have setup a new layout that i use on all the category pages. But now i also want to display all the categories with the same layout on a different page. (A new page - not a post)

How can i do that?

Hope you can help :)

Cheers, Peter

Hi there,

is this just a list of Category terms with links to their respective archives ?

No. I want the page to show categories the same Way i has created the layout for the category Pages.

Cheers, Peter :)

Can you share a link to these Categories Pages?

Hi David

My Layout for the Category pages is not something fancy, but I would like to be able to place them where I want, on e.g. the Frontpage. They just need to look like they do in my category layout setup..

Right now I am using Elementor on the front, but I want to remove Elementor and use my own layout from GeneretePress.

Cheers, Peter

Sorry - i think i am having a brain freeze today lol

Currently this is the only method without custom development:
If you go to Dashboard > Reading and set the Home page to display your latest posts you should see the themes default layout.
Then in your Block Element - Content Template you need to include the Blog in your Display Rule > Locations

Hello again

Now I have done as you have described. But now I can not write anything on the front page anymore. And the site has also become a lot narrower than it should have been.

Cheers, Peter :)

1. The width of the page, what do you have set in Customizer > Layout > Container Width ?

2. You cannot edit the page directly but you can use Block Elements to add content before and after the posts on the Front Page. For example a Block Element - Page Hero:

hello David

Now it seems to work. Thank you.

But I just have one last question. can i get the image to link to its single post. The image is a featured image but as a background image in a container.

Cheers, Peter

Do you have GenerateBlocks Pro ? As Container links are a Pro option.
