[Support request] How to Disable Comments, But User Registration may be Required.

My Site is created for file sharing.

So comments are irrelevant. maybe a review plugin will be good.

I wish to disable comments from pages and posts.

but, registered users can upload files, so user registration and login is required.

so, without affecting that, how to disable comments.?
