How to define generatepress posts layout settings globally?

Hi there,
I would like to define default generatepress layout settings, so that each new post created say by an author has the same settings without the author having to actually set them.
Namely, deactivate all elements except footer since I manage page elements with Elementor, without needing any intervention from authors (I plan to restrict access to generatepress layout panel to administrators).

Hi there,
you can make global changes within the Customizer. eg Customizer > Layout > Footer -- Set Widgets to zero and it wont display.
If you need to be more selective then you can use the Layout Element:
