How to Create a new Theme Sidebar (below featured image and before post content

I would like to display a custom banner ad between my the featured image for my articles but before my post content. the current theme sidebars allow me to run a banner at the top and bottom of page and left and right but nothing more nuanced than that. is there a way to add a new theme sidebar in the specific location that I want

if you are just adding an advert script then no need to register a sidebar you can just add your script to one of the GP Hooks:

The inside container hook should do the trick. This visual guide shows you the hook locations:
