    Hello!

Can anyone please advise how to change the padding on the sides of the blog and blog category pages such as here? http://healingwithzen.com/category/acupuncture/

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi there,

Looks like you have the content padding set to 0 in the customizer:
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/content-padding/

The better solution would be to set a value there like 40px, then when you do want to use 0 padding, then use the page builder container option to remove the padding.

Let me know if this helps πŸ™‚

    Hey Leo,

For a given page, is padding meant to be the same across different blocks? Let’s say to have an image block with no padding followed with some text with padding, what’s the best practice for that?

    Thanks!

    Hi @Kar Yung,

It really depends on what you want to do with it.

There’s no specific “best practice” for that technical-wise but if you’re asking from a designer’s POV, I’d always consider visual balance.

Personally, I’d always make sure that all bodies of text are at least aligned so if that text with padding messes up the alignment to the paragraph next to it, I’d consider removing its padding or match it with the rest of the paragraphs on the page. (unless its a figcaption because figcaptions are intended to be indented or centered)
